Le Mans is always a place for extremely bad crashes. There was a time when down the main strait cars lifted off a bit like that one.

Mark Webber had a stonking one in an Audi. Did a full flip and cleared the fence before it started to come back down to earth.

Le mans is always bad with cars with a massive surface area underneath going very fast. Can't compare to the 1950 odd crash when a car lifted in to the crowd and basically cut/decapitated loads of people. Gruesome

This is a pretty crap design if a car is going to fly everytime it ends up going backwards.
