Noel Edmonds, they're getting closer....

You're kidding? I always thought his jumpers were sinister.

Must be surely, creepy guy on TV, and by all accounts very creepy in real life. Everything about him screams 'don't dig up my garden please'.

Even during the filming of game shows he's getting a bent copper calling him up to give him tip offs.

As a slight aside, if they find that many of those at Elm House were simply homosexuals meeting together, and it is proven that some or any of them were under 21 at the time, will they too be prosecuted for breaking the law as it stood at the time the offences took place?

That all depends how under 21 they were!

perceptive.

A number of young male teenagers were disappeared forever around this time in London and some more found murdered. The Sidney Cooke gang deffo responsible for some but the others? Used abused by any number of people before the end almost certainly.

Just so bloody evil.

It's all over the place. Epidemic.

Two of my sisters were sent to that nice Catholic Mr Whatisname, who regarded part of his child-minding duties was slipping his hands into their knickers.

I would not be surprised if pretty much every street had a Mr Whatisname acting out their fantasies.

While I criticise my parents for their absurd devotion to Catholicism, they themselves did not reciprocate with child-minding - they were too socially inept for that!

It'd be interesting, because a number of people's careers were ruined after they had indiscretions with young boys that would be legal now days (Harvey Proctor, the rent boys in question were under 21 but over 16).

I suppose the key element should be whether or not they they were being abused, raped or otherwise non-consentually violated.

Cooke was involved in organizing some of the Elm House parties. There are allegedly two 'disapperances' being investigated in relation to the investigations of Elm House - and the old proprietor, Haroon Kasir who's wife 'topped herself' was charge in 2013 in relation to possession of indecent images of children and was in court last year, but I think publication of that is tied up with McSweeney (the priest who frequented Elm Guest House) and one other (currently on going I believe), possibly with several other charges.

When that gets to court, who knows what might come out

Haroon Kasir, was released without charge in Feb 2015

I was thinking along the lines of say a 25 year old with a 19 year old and mutual consent.

By the laws of the day, they would both be criminals, whilst by today's laws they would possibly be married......which made me wonder if they would actually be prosecuted in exactly the same way as the child molesters.

I know what you meant, just couldn't resist.

I'd expect nothing to happen if a situation you describe occurred, nor for anyone over today's consent laws that isn't making a complaint.
