I remember travelling down to the Saints' ground on the Palace Supporters Club coach, listening to coverage of Sir Winston Churchill's funeral on the coach radio.

I then watch from the Holmesdale End as Palace beat Forest 3-1 in the Fifth Round, but in the Sixth Round lost to Leeds 0-3. (Leeds lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the Final). At the time, both Forest and Leeds were in the top six of the old First Division.
