Anyone else on the train nicked by our own boys and taken on a joyride around south london for about an hour around 30 odd years ago? started with said boys getting in drivers cabin and honking the horn to the whole train responding palace! Then, a few practice movements, then we were off, a good 1000 or more palace on a packed train going around south london, i remember it went through new cross and deptford way, then ended up sw in brixton and tulse hill, where it was eventually stopped by police lined up on platform with more dogs than you could imagine, right along the platform, only the hijackerswere one step ahead, jumped off on sweeping bend before it got to station, and bricked the train as a real driver with a few coppers took charge and pulled into tulse hill, anyone else on board?
