I'd like to credit Damien Delaney with reinventing the slide-block that the rest of the defence are now emulating. Seem to remember him taking one in the six-pack in the last few minutes at Wembley. I remember seeing Tony Adams hurling himself at shots back in the day, and J Terry has done a fair bit of it, but not seen such commitment from Palace defenders on so regular a basis. Thought the whole team added credibility to the Prem League the other night by their fightback. Spurred on by the crowd, bien-sur. Isn't it great to support the 11th best team in England?
