For a variety of reasons, moving, no internet, illness etc I haven't been able to post or even watch too much Palace for the last month or so. Liverpool was the first time I've really had to sit and watch a game properly and I was impressed throughout, not just the last 15 minutes.

And we are glad that KM contributed to our staying up in the Prems.

The core of this team controlled games in the championship last season. With the wide players we have, we're more than capable of unlocking defences.

I'm very thankful for the great contribution Keith made to our historic season. Very humble but he stepped up when we needed him. It's nice to know that he is in the wings and provides us some cover for Pulis.

Although we used the counter attack to good effect at home, towards the end of the season we were controlling games in the oppositions half at home and away. One thing you cannot do anything about is pace and as we saw on Monday night against Liverpool, Yannick tore the Liverpool defence to shreds inside 12 minutes and he did the same away to Everton.

Every point has edged us closer to survival this season but there have been two games that have proved to be critical IMO; Chelsea - leading up to the game had been playing s*** football, not creating chances, no guile. Win gave belief that we could beat top 5 teams and start of the run that kept us up. The other was Hull away. KM's last game in charge and the day Pulis was appointed. I hate s***ty cliches but that gave us something to build on when when we looked dead and buried. Massive result and this with the point and clean sheet at home to Everton prior gave us hope.
