This post has been merged from a topic called ' The last time palace came back from 3-0 down...' by staffie supported Palace for over 35 years and the only similar comeback (losing and scoring late) was away at Tranmere in the early to mid 90s. we were 2-0 down going into the last 10 minutes and won 3-2. A dutch rubbish striker Boer (??) scored the winner, his only goal for the club Gave away a 3 goal lead too - remember Stockport drawing at selhurst after we led 3.0

I seem to recall a 3-3 at 'Selhurst Park' in the late 90s.I think that Carlo Nash and Wilbraham were at Stockport at that time but I have no idea if they played in the game.If my memory serves me well (Which is doesn't often !) , Andy Kilner was Stockport manager at that time.Weren't Man C in our division that season ?

In 1969 when clinching promotion to the top division for the first time we were 0-2 down to a Fulham side which included Johnny Byrne. We eventually won the game 3-2, and then John Jackson did his memorable striptease on the walkway of the main stand.

Does anyone remember when it was? I remember very nearly doing it against Forest some years back when we scored a last minute pen which then had to retaken (and was then missed, Julian Gray I think) . Can remember blowing a 3 goal lead to Peterborough in the cup over 2 legs a good while back - but struggling to remember a previous comebacks from 0-3...?
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

I seem to recall we did in a 3-3 draw at home against Luton Town in the mid 1970s when we had just got out of the old 3rd Division. I remember it was an exciting match and we were trailing at 1- 3 but can't be 100% that we did not score before their third goal. I think the 3-3 was on a Boxing Day in the late 70s but I cannot recall if we came back from 3-0 down. 1977 it was but cant remember how the scoring went It was my first ever Palace game (Boxing Day 1977 aged 9), yes we were 1-3 down, I was down the front of the Holmesdale which would be where the HF are these days and King Kenny was steaming down the wing right towards us. I remember (having only seen The Big Match on TV) being surprised that the Palace players didn't celebrate the first 2 goals much -- then when we equalized they made amends.

I think King Kenny bashed one in from a ridiculous angle, maybe the equaliser.

Moore 2, Cooper 1 - I had to look it up though. More pertinent, a certain Aaron Wilbraham came on as sub for Stockport in the 87th minute. Little did we know that we were seeing a cameo appearance by a future Palace cult hero
I might be wrong but I think that Carlo Nash was at Stockport at that time.He went to Stockport from us and I think was signed by Gary Megson.

I think it was from 1-3, Silkman twice and Sansom in the last minute. Silkman who is now an agent and I believe has amongst his clients Demba Ba and Ravel Morrison.
