"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Jack Daniels in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Tony always refers everything to his time at Stoke. Is he itching to be given another chance there? I'm hoping Tony stays and takes us on next season but I have an awful feeling another club will make him a better offer...Newcastle if they can get rid of Pards.

This guy is to be cherished. He s a man who could make you feel good about yourself even if you had little or no good points.
Tactically clued up but importantly he gets the psychological part which is crucial.
The comparisons to what stoke were and what we could be are alarming if you watch this tape.
You'd hang your hat on this guy and if he sticks around for the next 5 years we ll be taken a lot more seriously.
Typecast was an interesting point
(Right fcuk all that seriousness lets gets smashed on Monday and celebrate)

Whatever happened to my son Tommy Black

Brilliant interview and the man has made himself an absolute legend no doubt. I just wish he would stop going on about Stoke and his relationship with their chairman.

You're here now, leave Stoke alone.

He's immensely proud of what he create at Stoke, and the legacy he has left. It's that experience that will prove vital for us.

That last question and his answer just cements it for me that he wants to do the same for us, as long as him and the board are on the same page .

I think he uses stoke as his blue print, and his way of showing what can be done if given time, he so wants a longer contract to make this possible with us, he oozes integrity and loyalty, just hope this happens. He is better than Tony Mantana and Tony Soprano, he is the real deal, Tony Pulis

Seems we have Sir Alex Ferguson to thank for TP's decision to take the challenge on. Told him we have a good academy, great support and a chance to stay up.

*Hic* Cheers Sir Alex

Shreeves: Would you like to take it to the next level?

Pulis: Yeah I think it’s something you could, very similar to Stoke, you could take on and take on and then leave and be very proud of what you've achieved.
