As for the DF vs IH exchanges, the only 100% fact that I know of is Ian Holloway was manager when we won the playoffs and went up after DF deserted us for a more lucrative deal. All the rest is just subjective analysing of statistics which we all know can be manipulated to support any argument.

Very well put.Fair play to you Sir !

we don't want another sweaty thanks, freedman was hard enough to understand.

Nothing like a short memory. Without our sweaties you can kiss goodbye to the greatest player in our history (Jim Cannon), a season in the top flight (David Hopkin), survival (Dougie), the resilience of John McCormick's defending and Gerry Queen's goals, which kept us up for four years and that's without touching on John Hughes, Iain Phillip and hundreds of others in between all the way up to Barry Bannan who've made huge contributions to Palace. Don't want Moyes, but our debt to Scotland is considerable.

We wouldn't even be in the top flight if it wasn't for dougie - alot of people easily forget that

When you extricate yourself from his bottom, answer me why you believe the above to be true?

Wtf do you mean? Did you go away last season or are you just f***ing retarded? The reason we got into the play offs wasn't because Holloway got us there it was because when he took over DOUGIE HAD US TOP OF THE LEAGUE ON AN UNBEATEN RUN OF 14 OF WHICH WE WON 11, how anyone thinks that he's not the reason we are in the Prem is beyond f***ing belief. I'm not sucking anyone's arse and he is of courts a traitor but just because someone betrays a team DOES NOT take away the fact that we are in the PL due to what he did before and the success he evidently he had. Some so called football fans on this site actually thinking we would've went up with Ollie from the start last season!!! Haha!! Do me a favour!! U remember his record for us in the league?? some absolute mongrels seem to forget! We were one of the favourites to go down last season

As has been mentioned, your assertions are incorrect, DF had a good 8 game run against weaker opposition, we weren't top of the league and we had to endure depressing football the previous season. What you seem to be implying through the expletives and personal insults, is that the 8 game run is what got us promoted, sorry but 24 points would have got us relegated, IH continued to keep us in touch, yep there were some instances where we weren't as good as we were previously but we had a very good first eleven but after that, not a lot and when injuries etc came into play we were found wanting but IH got us into the prem, that my raging little friend is proper FACT.

Amusingly you're using the following as evidence that IH wouldn't have got us up "We were one of the favourites to go down last season". DF was in charge when the odds for relegation were published, so I'm not really sure how that helps your argument?

Anyway, I'd love to chit chat with you but I've got better things to do

Freedman had a much better record last season than Holloway. We wouldn't have gone up under Holloway. Fact. 100%. Done

Oh I see, because you type Fact. 100%. Done. Means that it is! Read the replies above that totally refute your romantic dreaming, deluded doesn't go far enough with you.

And your Dad, I assume you're his son, hasn't done very well with the better squad, finance and infrastructure at Bolton has he?

Edited by Plane (04 May 2014 9.47am)

Romantic dreaming about my dad because you assume I'm his son? Smart and logical response there pal. Makes sense.

And no he has done awfully at Bolton which makes me smile because that's karma for you. He was a traitor but there's a reason a team with Bolton's kinda money and past success came in for him when they did. If you think that we would've been promoted with Holloway from day one then YOU are the deluded one mate, and I couldn't give a s*** if the whole board disagrees with me or not. Anyone who thinks we would've been promoted with Holloway in charge from day one of the season is, I would say naive, but more along the lines of just plain thick.
