I think it's a shame so many seem to have no feeling for England in a major tournament whatsoever judging by some of the comments.
I am proud to be english and proud of my country.
For me personally it's about the same. I love my club and will never support another club. I will always be Palace. However I am equally proud of my country, it's traditions, heritage, culture and standing in the world. I love my country and though England are serial let downs I will always back my country in major tournaments. One day England might win the world cup again just like one day Palace might win a major trophy and play in Europe. I hold hopes for both before I die.
Why should we have to choose between club and country at this moment in time anyway? It's not as if we have three or four first teamers that are England regulars is it?
It seems it's become uncool to be patriotic. In my opinion that's very sad
