This is beside the point entirely because these are merely statistical ratings...but Rooney better than Sturridge as strikers go? No f'in way!

Completely different players. Sturridge is a poacher who has Suarez of all people backing him up. Rooney sits up top behind a striker (RVP or Welbeck) and still bangs them in on a consistent basis as well as setting them up. Much harder worker as well. Like I said before, I'm not particularly fond of Rooney, but his ethic on the field and his consistency for his club over the last 9 years has to be admired. I think there's still a lot more to come from him for his country too.

It's not pantomime season is it?

 

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
