Just reading on the BBS ask 2010 thread, and a poster asked Steve B how much we are set to receive at the end of the season, and although he did not state figures his answer fills me with so much happiness that the nightmares of admins past should hopefully never rear there head again. Quote Steve,
First of all, a huge thank you and well done to ALL concerned, it's been truly one of the best season's I can remember after supporting Palace for over 35 years. Now my question, what is the actual financial benefit of staying up ? Is it another £60m ? Is it an additional £750k per position you end up? Quote It's actually slightly more that. I wont go into details but it basically makes CPFC financially secure for many years and part pays for future ground development
Regards Stuart

I hope development is sooner rather than later. I only have 3 small items on my palace check list to see before I can die in peace. 1. See palace play in a new/redeveloped stadium
I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that. |

This is indeed very good to hear. Being prudent types I reckon the owners will still have some in the bank from this seasons revenue as well just in case the worst happened and we went down.

1 Doesn't bother me,really dont want a new shiney stadium, with no soul and history A nice shiny new stadium on the site of the original Crystal Palace, with architectural nods to the original, would showcase the club and provide us with the best club stadium in the country. Heck, it would even be a venue for World Cup matches when England finally get past the hoops that FIFA insist that we jump through.
