Complaints have been made to the FA and FIFA that Tony Pulis is doing his job too well -- and consequently this is seen as being unfair to other Managers in the English Premier League Since arriving in November Pulis is suspected of using “team bonding”, “formation solidification” (organisation) and “motivation” to get results. It is also rumoured that he encourages self belief by players. But this can not be confirmed before going to press. This approach is deemed detrimental to other teams in the League. Some think it is outrageous – even scandalous – that Pulis uses such nefarious methods in order to get results. There is even a theory that Tony Pulis has discovered the secret to the loaves and fishes trick -- turning 7 points into 43, as he has done. Truly miraculous! Pulis has made it difficult for opposition teams by implementing a revolutionary technique known as “stop the other team and nick one at the other end.” The boffins at the FA and employees of the Blatter School Of Ethical Football, are scanning their rule books to see if this is illegal -- or if they can make it retrospectively so. A friend in Fleet Street tells me that Roy Hodgson is locked in a room watching Crystal Palace’s last 5 games to see if he can replicate the Pulis magic in Brazil.
