As much as I like the HF at home I am glad they weren't there at Upton Park (I don't think) So Banter chants were allowed for once.

I was sitting amongst the WHU fans and can testify how fantastic the Palace support was and how it riled the Wet Spam unfaithful.

I was honestly surprised how much coarse anger and venom was generated by individuals and how little collective support there was.

They spent the early part of the game insulting everything CPFC (one moron even took issue with Tony Pulis' white trainers?!!!) but then amazingly, they turned on themselves.

By the end of the game, those who remained were truly cannibalistic neanderthals. Sad to see and horrible to experience - can't wait to get back to Selhurst!!!!

So did I. Quite surprised at how many detest Palace.

We broke their hearts at the Millennium stadium so they'll always hate us.
Mind you I don't think there was any trouble outside after although I did see a tasty looking mob walk down Tudor rd towards the away end, not sure if there was a pre arranged meet planned?
Not a good idea to mix it up with West ham me thinks

Got into the ground about 3 minutes into the game only to find that the seating plan had all gone to hell and you just stood where you could - the stewards didn't even get started to sort it out... but who gave a f***, this was always going to be a carnival and the day did not disappoint.
We owned that stadium from first kick to the last chant. Andy Carroll must have wished he' stayed at home because he got some abuse I can tell you..and it got to him. Favourite has to 'If Andy Carroll plays for England, so do I'. Class.
On the pitch we played with an assurance and authority that just make you wanna sing.
The final crowning glory of the boys coming down to the end and joining hands in a celebration of premiership survival was a perfect end to a perfect day and an unbelievable season.
'We're Crystal Palace, we're taking the piss!'.

West Ham fan here, but please read on...

I'm not sure if this has been said already - but I just wanted to extend a sincere note of thanks to all the Palace fans who attended the game in the weekend and who observed the various tributes to Dylan Tombides (the 20 year old West Ham striker who died of cancer during the week). All the accounts that I have read of the the day note that the Palace fans were genuinely respectful of the situation.

Well done for that and also for the 3 points.

Thanks for that, and so tragic at such a young age.
