Anyone else so used to looking at the bottom 5 or 6 places at the league table and never looking higher up for fear of straining the muscles in your eyes? Just looked at the full Prem table for the first time in ages. What the heck is going on? Palace are 4 places behind Man Utd. Could conceivably finish ninth. Playing a part in deciding the Champions League spots, nay even the title. Almost certainly safe after today with three games to go.* My 7 year old son now thinks that this is normal. Get promoted to the Prem and stay up...sorted. There is no room for usual last week of the season self - induced implosion. It all feels weird. * barring vindictive Prem League anti - Palace points deduction for no good reason whatsoever

It does take some getting used to , first thing that came into my mind when brentford went up yesterday was 'cracking away game next season' and I'm still checking if Rotherham go up as it'll be a new ground ......

When we were 2-0 up against the Toffees I asked my wife: "Is this really Palace I'm watching?". Confused and a bit dizzy from the heights we've reached in the table but loving every minute of it.
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

It's like a dream! I've got nothing to be fed up about anymore! The thought of playing in the Europa league in 2015-16 should do the trick!!!

Weird how the Everton game was the first ding - dong encounter for months and we still came out on top. Not so many folk grumbling about the style of play as a month ago...but the surreality level is at an all time high.

I keep on going back to check the league table on my laptop to make sure it hasn't been some nasty trick. Edited by biosphere76 (19 Apr 2014 2.24pm)

What's great is watching all the teams down there desperately trying to get points while we sit there watching it all with our 40 point stash.
