Anybody clever enough to be able to tell me what the Premier League Table would look like taking only the last 25(?) games into account. I think we won 11 of those games. Would we be anywhere near qualifying for Europe? I could probably work it out meself, but I'm far too lazy.

For me the secret of the success Pulis has had relates to his being able to impart to players what he wants and as he is very good at developing tactics the players now know what is expected of them and they have produced. Since Warnock left I don't think we have had anybody with a strong enough character to get behind the players and get them to play according to plan. It will be interesting next season to see how Pulis develops new plans with players that we have and those we will need to acquire.

Top marks to Kwesi for that! 3 games short though I reckon. Did Pulis take over with us on 4 points or 7?

I am running out of superlatives to describe the performance of Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis, who took his team to the 40-point mark with victory over Everton on Wednesday. It is a great story that Palace are safe - in fact, if the season lasted a couple of months longer they would probably be going for Europe! There is a really nice balance to the Eagles team with Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie bringing pace, and Marouane Chamakh playing off Cameron Jerome up front. West Ham have lost two in a row now but they are safe from relegation and remain a very difficult team to beat. It is no coincidence that Hammers manager Sam Allardyce has got a very similar philosophy to Pulis when it comes to organising his teams and getting results - and they are both very good at what they do.
