Apologies, have no idea how to add a link, but in tonight's match write up, The Mirror and Guardian are claiming that Alex Ferguson was one of two people who originally persuaded Pulis to take the Palace job, the other being the Stoke chairman! Sorry if old news but but certainly the first I'd heard of it!

Makes me more confident TP will stay reading that. It's almost as if it's written in the stars....

Cheers for the link paulose Yeah Seth, feeling like Pulis could be around for a while! Surely he can't leave a team he's made his own to such great effect, or such awesome fans Kinda hard to believe how far we've come since almost being no more - proud times!

Fergie owed us one. If we hadn't rolled over in the FA Cup Final replay he'd have just retired as long serving kit man at Accrington Stanley.

Well said Seth... My son has retracted the "why don't you support a good team?" Question he asked me about four years back! Now he understands! Will.be back in the UK for some of next year and will renew my membership and organise tickets so he can visit our football home and watch us play at home, hopefully bringing my Dad along if he is well enough. So proud that it will be in the premier league, so proud. Edited by moylerg (17 Apr 2014 3.17am)
