So I went online to watch the Boston Red Sox get their World Series Championship rings on Opening Day at Fenway Park. The same Red Sox whose owners also own Liverfool. The stream came and what were they palying at this most hallowed of all baseball grounds? "And I'm feeling (boom, boom) GLAD ALL OVER...!" Total class.

Wonderful ground. Went their a number of time during the Blue Jays heyday in the 80's and early 90's. Even quirkier than Selhurst. Unfortunately, Toronto is opening against the Yankees tonight in the sterile Dome. They keep promising real grass and "Let's go Blue Jays, Let's play ball" just doesn't have the same impact as Glad All Over!

Hope you do the Bronx Bunglers. The only thing wrong with today is the Brewers won it in the ninth. At least Uecker is happy. Also hope Ron Ford isn't at the game tonight. At least TFC is doing better. Up the Palace!

No luck against the Yankees last night. Inundated by Japanese media to watch Tanaka's debut. He gave up a lead off homer but otherwise looked good. Lind has grown a Red Sox beard - seems to be working for him.

Yes, TFC looking good -- could hardly be any worse. Probably take in some games this season. Quality has improved to mid-Championship level.

Anyway, more important stuff today. Up the Palace!
