This is a hard one. Palace beat the best but have a completely different game on Saturday. It's got to be Chamakh in for Jerome I'm afraid. But if Palace then lose it's, 'what did you change a winning side for'? But in the end you must back your hunches and my hunch is Chamakh will be more likely to score. Last week he could have had a hat trick. But that would have been a different team and Palace may then have lost. Oh I don't know!

Listening to Pulis press conference - he seems to be suggesting that Chamakh will play. I think that Bolaise may be the man to make way with Ledley moving onto the wing.

Chamakh being back is the reason why Williams can stay at Ipswich for the time being.

Yeah would have to be straight swap with jerome for me, its a must win game for cardiff but must not lose for us so would be pretty stupid dropping a player with defensive qualities for one who has none.

I think that we will play both with Chamakh playing behind Jerome.

Jerome will run the Cardiff defence ragged. Chmakh will link up with the midfield - Puncheon, Ledley, Jedi or KG - coming through.

I wouldn't drop Jerome after the shift he put in against Chelsea.

Chamakh is probably not match fit yet. I would put him on the bench. It would be handy to have Murray and Chamakh to come on if we are losing against Cardiff.

Except has he recovered yet after all that running?!

But i agree with your post.

No one has mentioned pace yet. Do we need a fast striker who can run the Taffy defence ragged and miss all of our golden opportunities or a striker who can win the ball in the air and head it down to nobody?

I can't see it changing, but I can see Pulis weighing up his opponents carefully and deciding how to beat them with a new game plan. The team may not change, but the challenge is different.

Exactly this. Which is the lesser of the two evils. I really don't know. Perhaps they both have a role to play on Saturday.jerome knackers their defence out for 60 mins then Cham comes on to exploit the space but still who is going to stick it in the back of the net - Ledley or Punch bombing on from midfield?

Yes really is a tough one that I have been pondering upon all week.

I am a great fan of Chamakh and share others opinions on Jerome - cannot score but puts two or three defenders constantly under pressure.

Bolasie's improvement over the last month or two has been considerable and he is getting closer to finding the net. He also gets back and helps the defence all of the time.

KG and Jedi are first names on the TP team sheet. Ledley is a good player and when he plays further forward does possess a goal threat.

Puncheon blows hot and cold but he always puts in the effort and he has scored three goals which puts him second equal on our woeful highest scorer list.

So what a dilemma. I would keep the team unchanged with Chamakh on the bench. However, I believe TP will play both Jerome and Chamakh so Puncheon is likely to be the man to miss out.
