Wayne paying tribute on Twitter to his former childhood football Manager Richard "Dick" Clayton who died unexpectadly on 22nd March. He managed Croydon Athletic who had Wayne, Millwalls Lee Martin and Palace's Steve Kabba in their line up at the time.

The first bunch of flowers to turn up at his families home in Purley was from Wayne so he hasn't forgotten the man who discovered him at 12 years old.

RIP Dick- you are a legend!!
