does anyone think he's got a chance of being in the team of the year come the end of the season? obviously he wont be cause no palace player will even be considered, but even with my biased hat off i think he deserves it more than any other keeper. No real clangers, unlike every single other keeper in the league, and a lot of match winning saves and clean sheets

There's certainly not anyone obviously more deserving, though I'd put a heck of a lot of money on it going to Cech/Sczezsny

Freedman would have like his testimonial to have been against his boyhood favourites - Glasgow rangers. He ended up with Fulham - what an anticlimax.

A testinonal will be good for him, a statue is taking it a bit to far....maybe when the grounds done up etc then we can look at that sort of thing for past players. Restaurant inside the ground and testimonial will suffice

Argentina Classic! I'd go to that, mind you I would go to Julian's testimonial if it was against Sutton United. It is the least any Palace fan can do after the years of fantastic service he has given us. He saved our season year after year. JS himself has said that it is probably his last season and that is sad, but I don't care who he signs for, I will always think of him as a legend. Chances are it will be one of our rivals as he will have to drop down and will probably want to stay local as he has business interests in the area.

If we stay up by 1 point then I would put him in the same bracket as Jim Cannon, Geoff Thomas etc because that save was absolutely world class ! I also think that TP may not have realised how good he was and I would be very surprised if Jules doesn't at least start next season as number 1 !
