Seem to be getting our vision blurred here, so here is a little clarity if I may.......it is my opinion that both Scott Dann and Damian Delaney could comfortably play in the middle of Chelsea's defence. I am not saying this with sunglasses on or from consuming any alcoholic refreshment. I honestly believe it. Says a lot about our defence.....thank God!!

this is good and back slapping stuff, but none of our defenders in the middle compare favourably with the likes of any of those blokes at Chelsea, Utd or City and Arsenal. If they did, that's where they would be, sitting on the subs benches. Ward may do a job, but may end up like Clynne. Almost, but not quite.
Dont think you can read Eastender, read what he said again, go back to school and stop posting pointless posts. 'NONE OF OUR DEFENDERS COMPARE FAVOURABLY WITH THE LIKES OF ANY OF THOSE BLOKES AT CHELSEA' Someone give me a wall to run into !! Which begs the question, why would we have players that would be Chelsea quality at Palace? Would you like to re-read your response and then perhaps do an after school class?
Unless I am mistaken, Moses spent more time at Wigan than he did with us, before he moved to Chelsea. Also, he doesn't play for us as he is too good so has gone to a top club so back to the question, why would we have a player of Chelsea quality playing for us? We have had plenty of Chelsea quality players play for us..Tommy Langley, Brian Bason, Gary Locke, Steve Wickes, the 53 year old Mickey Droy

Class act today. Shame about the result. He fits in nicely and my mum fancies him. Win, win, win. Good signing.

He could probably do with marking his man right up until the final whistle, rather than just up to the 93rd minute...

I have been so impressed with Dann since he signed, I think he is probably our best signing so far. He is immense, what a cracking signing. And Ward is going from strength to strenth, especially playing out of natural position. Ward's quality will make it hard for us to keep hold if we do get relegated, he could easily make it into a top 10 Premiership side.
Remembering staffie for ever!, a gentleman and true great. unfortunately the HOL will never be the same without him. |
