Think every Palace fan admire and respect TP for results achieved, but what many (I think) don't understand, is how he keep on playing among others Cameron and KG. But leave out the likes of Bannan, SOK, Gayle and partly Guedioula. And let us be all chasing the ball and never try to pass the ball (hoofs from DD, passing astray from MJ). OK, points gained vs Swansea and Sunderland, but the way it is done stinks.

H'mmm .lets think why does Pulis keep playing players that are playing the way he wants them to and keeping us in with a shout of staying up .

Maybe he should play these amazing flair player's that we have that will score or create at least 2 goals every game we play. But then if he did that what if we conceded 3 goals every game because we could not defend ?

I just don't know.

I think I would just let the manager manage.

It is an old cliche but the manager works with the players all week - he knows who can and cannot do what he wants.

He sets the team up not to concede and then try to nick a goal on the break. When we have been forced to chase a game our mentality changes and we move forward with purpose - recent succesful examples being Norwich at home and Swansea away.

The likes of Bannan and SOK are obviously not considered good enough to start. Gayle, well I have said since the start of the season the guy is just not good enough. If you play him you are effectively playing ten men plus a striker who 'may' get the odd goal.

Guerdiora is a player I do rate and have long felt he should be in the side.

Of TP's signings Ledley is fine but being forced to play too deep. Dann is an excellent player but Ince is a season off being able to produce the goods at this level. So far his value (Blackpool's compensation level) will have dropped considerably and not so many will be keen to have him on the payroll come next season.

If TP cannot keep us up then nobody would have been able to. For two months just forget the football, keep the faith, support the team and hope we are here next season.

I am pleased Pulis is our Manager and he was always going to be our best chance of staying up - he still might do it yet.
However - we cannot keep inviting pressure and offer nothing in return.
We can play football - I've seen it with my own eyes!
We need to attack the likes of Sunderland - beating those teams around us is our only hope of surviving this season.
We show too much respect to too many teams when there are times we should have more ambition.
I don't want to go down playing good football - I want us to stay up any way possible and Pluis is still the man for me.
But just a little bit more going forward would help plus the old and very true adage - if you have the ball the other team can't score!

What's the obsession with Gayle on here?

Ok, he's got a reasonable goals-to-minutes ratio, but to be a Premier League striker, you need so much more than that. Look at Darren Bent, his scoring record in the Premier League is very good, but his all round play isn't, which is why he's never been/will be a great striker. Gayles link up play is pretty woeful, and we can't afford to start with him, at this time. Having said that, the potential is there and this is his first season in the Premier League, so hopefully next season he will have matured and acclimatised a bit.

What Gayle can do is get you a goal out of nothing, which is what the state of our attacking play is at the moment. Remember the goal at Villa Park,if he hadn't been on the pitch at the time we would have 2 less points now and staring down the barrel, he is the only player in our squad who can score that type of goal with the possible exception of Ince who at the moment is being used as a defender. He's worth a punt.
Having said that, in the last couple of games it seems that Pulis has his substitutions pre-planned. I've just slagged off Gayle, but he is useful in the last 20 minutes (Sunderland at home, Villa away) and it seems we have no Plan B at all.

I do not believe we can go on inviting pressure. I remember as a youngster playing for a very weak side and we tried the soaking up pressure game and it did not work principally because we all lost confidence and ended up too frightened to go forward in fact we dare not because the coach would have us by the you know what. No I think its time to try and build up from midfield and go forward because its only goals that will keep us up in the final analysis.

That's Sunday league, we are a professional side with players which themselves admitted prefer defensive negative football. Plus if we draw 0 0 every game we will stay up also we only really need to score 4 more goals to guarantee staying up if we win games 1 0 in our usual manner.

TP has managed more than 900 professional games and never been relegated. I reckon he knows what he's doing. We are in something of a false position and were nailed on favourites to go down. Some were predicting less points than Derby! Whether we stay up or go down we will have made a really good go at it and this is largely due to the turnaround overseen by him. I know football is all about opinions but looking at his record, with us and before, it feels like having a pop at him is like giving Andy McNab the benefit of your advise on which weapon to select for battle, based upon your score on Call of Duty.

No one hates TP and everyone respects the job he has done and it has given us a real chance of staying up. My only question is are you enjoying watching us? I can except that this season to stay up but if it continues next season then its going to be tough watching.
