We really must stop talking about scraping a point here, grabbing a win there and having no chance elsewhere. Its simple: every game, attack, attack, attack. Don't care what the rest do. And if we go into the championship at least we can say 'we had a go'. Cannot do that at the mo.

That plan worked really well for Mr. Holloway.

Exactly Roberto Martinez would not dare play attacking football with Jedinak in the side
That plan worked really well for Mr. Holloway.

As long as we can say we had a go though hey? That's what really counts.

Yeah, that'll happen...

how much would it hurt if wilf got the winning goal..

to be honest, i always study and make assumptions on the league, but it's just too tight.

we looked down and out, as did west ham, sunderland and cardiff - this has been a remarkable season at the bottom - but something i am not enjoying and don't want to experience again.

i put it down to not having a 'star' player - last year Wilf and FFS stared, before that we had likes of Freedman, AJ, Routledge, Bostock... if that makes sense - like a player you think - go on son, when he has the ball.

If we survive, it will be a miracle

Bostock? Did he even play for the first team? There is only one person who thinks Bostock was a "star" and that's...oh hello John!

If we play like the way we did away to Chelsea, why can't we scrape a point at home to them? We scored there and made chances.

We did indeed, but at the moment we do not seem to be attacking much and we will get punished by the better sides if we sit back.

If it comes down to Fulham away to get a point, then we are in trouble.

It is worrying that we have slipped down the form table and are now in the bottom four again. In the prediction table I had us staying up with one win in the last nine. I had us drawing at Sunderland but beating Aston Villa. AV looked good value for their win against Chelsea and I now think we will be lucky to get a point against them. Great problem is we can't score: one goal in last four and that was a dodgy pen. Cham was looking better and better but he will be out for the next two matches (which I had us down as losing anyway.) I suppose we might nick a draw at Newcastle but I can't see us scoring or holding out against Chelsea. Our forwards are always outplayed by class defenders.

The right place at the right time

I dont think so Gary - I'd bite your hand off for only needing a point at Fulham. I went to see them play Chelsea a week or 2 ago. Ground was lifeless (for a game against their biggest rivals !!) - we will own that stadium come May 11th, packing out the away and neutral ends. They were truly awful, and while I know they won yesterday, Newcastle are fading away I think.

Chelsea werent great apart from Hazard either (goals were all down to Fulhams horror show defending).

In short we can get at least a point from every single game this season, although of course Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City will be harder.

We are so in this and I am chomping at the bit for tickets to West Ham and Fulham (which will be an epic day I promise you). Believe...

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak
