Murray is just not good enough, face it, did well last season admittedly (even though 9 of his goals were pens and was assisted by bolasie and wilf and with that sort of service would most strikers score ? I think so) time will tell and i just hope Tony see's with his own eyes that he is just not up to PL standard sooner rather than later..

Please everyone don't harp on about last season with Glenn, respect to the guy but I use my own eyes and knowledge and I just don't see it.

Sorry.

You're a fool or a WUM.

Don't apologize. It's you're honest opinion.
You just happen to be wrong.

Welsh Eagle if you want to try to drag the level down to your level as you obviously cant debate reasonably or logically then it wont work, talk to me with reasoned argument then i will engage you if not why bother engaging me ? (probably your inbuilt colonial inferiority complex) Go on explain to me exactly what is so special about Glenn, pretend I was a club thinking about spending £400 million on him.. sell him to me.. Actually I will tell you what I will do I will watch a dvd of his last match (just watched it, couple of touches, no pace, didnt worry the oppsition, no shots, bad touch,) I will give him the benefit of the doubt on your say so and watch him from the stands again this week and report back.

Your either Welsh or CNFSL (Certainlty not from south london)

9 tap ins= 9 goals

9 Half way line shots=9 goals

9 volleys= 9 goals

You don't fluke 31 goals and score 20 odd goals every season the same way in each division and step up each time. The premier league wont be any different.

Sorry.

How many people have EVER scored 30+ goals in 1 season in the champ ? Not that many, regardless of whether they took penalties or had the best support players around. I think that deserves respect, regardless of anything else.

No-one knows if he can score goals at prem level but he hasn't looked out of place so far, but he hasn't had much service. Take any striker and remove the service and he'll struggle.

I'll reserve judgement until he gets better service and has some chances - then see what he does with them. Think you're being extraordinarily harsh on Murray there Thommo.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

I sort of understand that to do something different up front has got to be better than what has happened so far this season. But it doesn't go as far as saying Murray's rubbish. I am sure he can and will score more. To say from what Thommo sees of him doesn't add up to Murray being a goal scorer misses one big factor. Since when have goal scorers been good footballers? True, some have been, but many no way. Look at Crouch or even Greaves. Hurst wasn't the most gifted with the ball at his feet. So many like that. So do not bank on Glen not scoring. At the mo he is the best chance, but do change the system as it aint working.

Im sorry...but....no

Bolasie, not only can he not finish to save his life, but he probably isnt a dominant force in the air
AND we'd miss his pace and strength out wide

Puncheon would be a better striker, OR maybe even Delaney....

Like your thinking BUT we shouldn't be playing it in the air that's my point, on the deck to Bolly's feet so he can turn and confuse the defenders where it matters ie in and around there box, we would for sure win many more free kicks/pens like that.

As I recall it took a while for the machine that was Murray, Zaha and Bolasie to become slick. And I am one that thinks Murray's sharpness and ability to know exactly where the goal is for a snap shot is right up there at Prem standard.

But we don't yet show any signs of acting like a scoring machine, the secret sauce is yet to be discovered. Unlike Hull who struck pay dirt almost instantly.

Its just a shame Bolasie can't cross. And we need more midfield support to Murray.

If I was put in charge for the rest of the season then I would play Yannick as center forward being supported by Bannan, drop Murray and Punch..

Go on rip me to bits..

In order to play someone up front they would need to be able to shoot on target and score the odd goal to make the experiment work.
I don't think I really need to say more about Bolasie that that?
