I'd rather face them now, than the game before Fulham....

Hi guys, sunderland season card holder hear some valid points made in earlier posts. As to yesterday's result we made 6 changes and this weekend will field a full strength team. So I don't think anything can be taken from it. Having said that our home form has been very poor I think it's going to be a very tight game not many goals a must win game for us.

Must win for both of us meaning you'll win then.

I would focus at our play and not Sunderland......

A team looses games when hoping for a week opponent.....

A team losses games when hoping for a weak opponent? does this mean we needn't turn up? I know Sunderland are weak, as their league position indicates. Palace are also weak. Having got that out of the way I think, irrespective of what anyone thinks, they will just get stuck in. Too complicated really.

Personally think its a good time to play them. A team down there with us,so we have to be confident going into a game like this, that we will pick up points! we will see how far we have come under Pulis, and i reckon a win, and we will stay up. What i have liked about Pulis is the games against our relegation rivals, where we have really needed to win, we have...

He's got to take pressure off his team not heap it on a week before the game.I reckon he's melted ,purely because we are on route ,psychologically a beaten man that will affect his teams performance, lose to us but stay up.Perfect time to play them.

This ^^^^^a good manager will keep the players focused(Pulis ) but calm,Old chimp face has just cranked it right up on his team .
We will be hard to beat ,I just hope we offer enough of a threat the other end.
We score first I can't see us conceding 2 or 3 against sunderland.

How do you work that one out, apart from "Dossena" the rest are all regularly named in the 18 man squad for league games, and Bardsley, Cattermole, O'Shea, Larsson, Colback, Fletcher, Giaccherini, Johnson, Borini, play every game, as are Celustka, Cuéllar, Mannone, and Bridcutt, all get regular game time, the only regular players missing were Alonso, and Brown.
