Just hope the first 45 minutes vs Swansea was a wake-up call for everyone involved. Never ever seen a PL side with less commitment, but what a contrast the second half. Unbelievable and a proof of our roller coaster club. BTW, I love it...shame Glenn's last minute goalbound effort didn't end up in the net.

I must put my specs on quicker. I thought the title of this thread was Murray's gay partnership.

dont think wright /bright but maybe AJ/ Ships which was quite a success.Sorry but other than run around and concede pens what has Chamakh done that wilbs couldnt.Gayle really hasnt been given a chance and given TP tactics not likely to come on when we are in front but in a desperate last 10 when we are behind.Villa goal was class and can show what a talent the lad is.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Murray and Gayle!.' by staffie I don't think Gayle is anything like Wright. Gayle does nothing when he comes on the pitch but because he scored one cracker vs Villa he becomes a world beater. Not sure anyone has suggested he is a world beater. However he hasn't really had a chance either in what many consider to be his favoured position as part of a strike pairing up front. It's just an option that I think should be considered.

I would go for Murray up top with Ince tucked in behind him. Bolasie and Puncheon on the flanks. Oh and TP dont give Saints too much respect and sit too deep like the Manure game. They are a bit fragile at the moment so lets go for their throats and KO them in the first half

Yes I think a partnership between Gayle and Murray would be very interesting because the youngster could learn a lot from somebody like Glen. While it may or may not work I do believe its worth a punt and I hope Pulis will see it this way. We have got to try every possible permutation of strikers because we need goals and lots of them.

With Chamakh injured, I honestly think his could be a blessing in disguise. Chamakh has done nothing wrong and worked his socks off but his injury should be used to see what a partnership of Muray/Gayle could offer us. I think they could compliment each other beautifully. Murray's heading ability and hold up play with Gayle's flair and pace. Bright & Wright anyone? Southampton is a great fixture to try it out in a 4-4-2 formation I think.
Why can't people spell 'definitely'? |

By that I assume you mean Murray will gamble on Jerome missing the ball or not be in the right place so will make sure he is? Good plan!
