This may have been brought up before, but just out of interest, do any insiders know why the TV broadcasting box in the corner of the Holmesdale and the Arthur Wait still isn't being used? I'm sure it was there from the start of the season and it just seems a waste being there because it blocks that disabled area in the corner from being used. They were just putting a temporary one up when needed last season. Perhaps Sky funding had paid for it to be put in anyway.

PL requirement whether it gets used or not unfortunately. One of the many things the club need to change as part of PL rules. Bit ridiculous really.

It is unused because whenever we have been on TV we have either been on Sky or Bt and ...

BT seem to operate solely out of their own television studio, joining commentators for the match. So - empty box.

Sky have never broadcasted from our ground, we've always been the second fiddle fixture so their studio for the day has been Stamford Bridge or the like. So - empty box.

I really do hope Sky paid for it!!

I understand there is a Health & Safety, or more likely insurance, issue with the stairs that lead to the box.

It would have been paid for out of the money we get from Scudalong and his cronies at the Permiership.

The real shame is that the wheelchair users had to be moved for TV anyway.

Sorry to see Lee Hills go, did we ever see Alex Marrow? We did January 2013

In the grand scheme of things, considering how much tv money we're getting, the cost of putting the tv box up is inconsequential.

However, it's a shame the disabled fans had to be moved to the AW because of it.

The shame is that it was obviously a conditional build, based on 'premiership' requirements placed by the broadcasters.

I highly doubt that it will be used this season and even if it were, it'll be the once, meaning an horrific waste of money that could have been spent at the end of the season in building a less rushed, more compliant studio unit, in a better part of the ground maybe and more specific to everyones needs. Lets hope when it is rebuilt, that CPFC 2010 do their thing, stick to their values and make sure that the 'powers that be' refund some of the costs.

Fat chance.
