During the minute's applause for Tom Finney, were the Man United fans singing? I could hear something but couldn't make out what. I heard the boos at the end of it and reckoned what they sang wasn't in praise of Tom Finney.

They were singing Cantona songs during the applause.

...it was "glory glory man united" actually.

Either way, very disrespectful & they were rightfully booed for ir.

I felt they only raised their game because they knew about our support.

I bet they are not like that at other away games.

To be fair, as much as their home support is usually dire, everytime I have seen their away support either live or on TV they have been decent.

Watched a few games on the telly this season (make of that what you will!) and they were the first set of fans this season that I heard. Didn't hear them properly mind you, they were drowned out by the Palace fans whenever they got going but in previous games I literally couldn't hear the away support.

In the games I have attended, sat at the top of the Holmesdale I could easily have believed there were no away fans there at all, but that's a tidy old distance away and blocked by the roof of the AW.

Don't get it, How can people say "I was in the Holmsdale and couldn't hear them but they were the loudest or best away support this season" I watched the game back on sky yesterday and they were not loud and it was mainly Palace fans you could hear. Newcastle were definatly better imo and Swansea were good too.But then they did smash us 4-1.

Smashing up seats and disrespecting the tribute to Tom Finney is pretty poor from Utd then again they are notoriously some of the worst behaved away fans in the country.

The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!
