I've been going to Palace since 1969 and Jim Cannon remains my number 1. I was at the game when he scored against Chelsea on his debut.
I was in the Millwall end that day after being thrown out the Palace end on a technicality the FA would of been proud of and when Jim scored with his hand as i was a lot closer than most other Palace fans I couldn't resist but started to jump up and down like a loony. The other 9000 Millwall c-nts didnt like my boisterous wrist shaking at then with no barriers between us. Did you have plastic surgery ?! How about the New Den when we done them 4-1 and George Ndah scored with an overhead kick. I was in the lower tier singing we can see you sneaking out and when we got out they gave us a good kicking !

Didn't want to offend people with this topic, maybe I chose harsh words in original post describing Jedi as a crap player. He's not he does do his bit. We all have our favourites I suppose. Up the palace and much love to you all x

I came to the conclusion earlier today that Jedi is our player of the season! This is based on the thought: 'What player would we have missed most if he was not available for any matches this campaign.' Yes, I think Joel Ward has been excellent, but if he was out I think we could plug that gap reasonably effectively, but losing Jedi would leave a massive hole. We have not had many players who have been the top in stats this season, certainly not for goals or assists, but our captain has been the No 1 Premier player in successful tackles and interceptions. On the Hull City forum they were quaking in their shoes at the thought of coming up against Jedi again after, in their opinion, he totally dominated their home game. So, sorry can't agree with the post, we love Jedi!
