Must admit I wasnt very pro Pulis but wasnt very anti either but I had dreams of Karanka coming here and turning us into the next Barcelona whether we had to go down to do it or stay up Of the Britich pack - Pulis was far and away the only sensible choice if we had any ambition to stay up or at least give it a go, regardless of his style (which the PL critics had obvioulsy exagerated in terms of its agricultural style)...What Pulis does is incrediby simple and is in essence about minimising the risk of getting beaten Alex McCleish ? We would have been down by now
