TP will bring in five or so new players and we will have a squad looking for mid table safety next season. If next season is anything like this one there's no such thing as mid table safety

If next season is anything like this one there's no such thing as mid table safety I really think that the aspiration will be far greater than "Mid-table safety" in the Championship next season !

Gabs is like my 15-year old Audi A4. He looks lovely and does a great job but is essentially worth nothing. Neither are particularly fast, but they both handle themselves with panache. Edited by Mangopablo (09 Feb 2014 8.44am)

I did feel it was harsh to drop a defender who has contributed so much to CPFC's success this season, particularly the post-IH defensive performances. In fact I thought it was more likely to be Delaney who would make way if Dann was to start. At least he made the bench, 'cos regulars Mariappa and Jerome didn't even make the match-day squad! At the end of the day both of them have played a part in the improvement under TP, whatever the fans feelings about their respective abilities. Just goes to show you what a cut-throat business football is and makes me more understanding of professional players' desire to look after their own interests.
Got a feelin he will be released come the end of the season.
