Did anyone get any footage of Kayla overshooting the handler into Block D of the Holmesdale

Must have been quite scary seeing that heading towards you at speed

...ended up in the first 6 rows of the Holmesdale before kick off today. Caught the wind and simply ended up flying past her handler straight into the crowd literally just in front of me.

I honestly did think she had hurt her wing when she clattered the seating but thankfully she was OK and got on with the usual goal to handler routine.

Question is though, should we give her a break in the bad weather? Seem to recall she went missing two or three weeks ago too because of the weather?

Always room for the ol' bird, but a bit of pty and sympathy for her having to perform the same old routine in such poor conditions.

I agree, second time now she has struggled in high winds. Would be interesting to know if her handlers/owners get paid a fee for the whole season or for each appearance. I suspect the latter.
