...is another of those sets of games (like Hull) where the bottom 10 are either playing each other or have god damn awful games in which their chances are pretty slim for a point let alone three.... and just like Hull a win can really give us a great push further away from that bottom three and heap more pressure on those around us who's expectations are a lot higher !

Villa - West Ham - Fancy Villa
Naaaarich v Citeh - Gotta be Citeh
Saints v Stoke - Gotta be Saints with Stokes on teh road record
Sunderland v Hull - Draw most likley but sneaky feel Mackems
Swansea v Cardiff - Fancy Cardiff, local derby and all thats gone at Swans this week but most likely a draw
Mata United v Fulham - Got to be Mancs surely

A win for us coupled with the Sashes patented 100% accurate Predictometer (c) could see the table looking like this (which doesnt take into account the counting hatching chickens principle):

Villa 30
Palace 26
Stoke 25
Hull 25
Sunderland 25
Narrrich 24
Swansea 24
WBA 23
---------
WHAM 22
Cardiff 22
Fulham 18

A win this weekend is simply vital for that momentum and to keep the pressure on the likes of Fulham, West Ham, et al whos expectations dont go beyond survival this year and anything else being a catastrophe.

It will make them nervous and timid - we need to keep fuelling that stress with games and weekends like this...Fat Sam will continue to sweat and blame everybody from the ref to the cleaning lady, Rene will continue to beam even though the ship is sinking, Bruce will continue to blame everyone else for his teams plight and form and down in South Wales the behind the scenes shennanigans at both clubs will continue to keep the focus at the boardroom rather than the pitch...

Going to be a great weekend for football. Even a neutral would find this soap opera interesting.

I would guarantee that there will be at least one result though, that goes against what's expected.

I think the one that could would be Stoke - they are clueless away but Southampton have never done us a favour EVER....

The midweeks have a similar pattern and whilst we arent likley to get much at Goodison..

Cardiff v Villa
Hull v Saints
WBA V Chelsea
Citeh v Sunderland
Stoke v Swansea
Fulham v Liverpool

You have gotta feel for Fulham The could be adrift by next Saturday and if WBA dont pick up against us then they could be bottom three

Its all very very very exciting

The match against WBA on Saturday is quite vital for us to win as the next two are Everton and Man. U (h).

I know that Man U aren't in the form they were but still in the top 7.

In March, 2 out of the 5 fixtures are against fellow teams in the bottom 9 (both away). The other 3 against teams in the top 9. Certainly a mixed month.
