Looked pretty clear cut, straightforward trip in the box and another crap decision by the ref who managed to book Delaney for a good tackle.

Which BerlinPalace beggars the question, why can't a yellow card be rescinded if it is proven by TV if it shows that for example te ball was played before the man, as was the case with te DD tackle today. Should be same rules as for a Red. Can't really blame the ref on this one as he doesn't have the benefit of video replays.

away teams like us dont get those decisions at bigger clubs. I thought he turned sharply and their defender was already there

Might be in for a bit of stick but never a pen.
In the woods there grew a tree. And a fine fine tree was he. |

No, he nicked the ball past Sagna and got tripped. Pretty blatant, doesn't matter what Sagna meant but maybe Ward getting up straight away changed his mind. Anywhere else on the pitch, not with this ref, and it would have been a foul.

The DD one was a bit annoying, but I only aftr seeing the replay that you could see how good a tackle it was. But the trip on Ward was in an open area with no distraction and no excuse.

All about opinions but I saw something completely different. You are however spot on with Delaney.

Hate to say it but you're on the money. For me Ward's one was never a peno. The Arsenal player had his back to him for a start. The Damo Delaney yellow (as well as the Chamakh one weren't yellows in my opinion but Jedi should have had a yellow and a penalty against him for manhandling an arse player in the box.

A couple of Arsenal fans agreed that it was a trip and they were a bit fortunate to get away with it. Sagna moves his leg towards Ward and then there is contact, that is a foul.
