we are not scoring enough to stay up. Unless there is a significant improvement we will be relegated. If we don't concede we don't need to score more than one each game. Ince, Ledley will score goals and provide service for Chamach.

Where are the goals? We have only scored 15 and Man City have scored 68. we are not scoring enough to stay up. Will Ledley get 10 by May?
But that assumes the other team don't score!!!! I hope we don't rely on that because we won't always be as lucky as we were in the second half of the Hull game.

Sorry mate but I will carry on being cretinous and say that Luis Suarez has scored 23 as an individual which is all pointing to the fact that the goal-shy leave this division quickly. 10 years ago our strategy was long ball to AJ and get him to draw a foul in the area and then tuck away a penalty and it nearly worked. Not sure where our attacking threat lurks at present and would like to see Gayle used more.

you will see that the teams that concede the most goals got relegated more often than the teams that score the least. This please! Let's keep it tight as GD will make a huge difference. Goals win games admittedly but conceding leads to relegation without a doubt.

Sorry guys but it is neither one thing nor the other - leave the statistics to the economists. We have to have a goal threat, hopefully Ledley, Ince and Murray will provide more of this in the next few months. Similarly, and rather obviously, we need to continue to be tight at the back and concede as few as possible. If we win 1-0, 2-1, 5-4 or whatever is really does not matter - we get three points. We have to get three points five more times this season and, hopefully, after Saturday that will be down to four times. If it does go down to goal difference then we will have severe problems but I think we will stay up by three or more points.
