Bars at Chicago airport for Arsenal game?

Looks like I'll be in Chicago for this weekend's game. Will arrive only an hour or so before kickoff, so best would be somewhere in or near the airport.

Anyone been through there before, or even going to be there at the same time?

Kickoff doesn't clash with the Superbowl so hopefully somewhere will be screening it.

There's a Sports Bar in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel at the airport. They have plenty of screens so they should have the game on at least one of them. Plus you can get a burger and beer for breakfast.

Assuming you're in the International Terminal, I think you'll be lucky. There is a bar more or less straight in front of you (just to the right, as I remember) when you come through the scanners onto the airside. It has TVs showing sports so I guess it could be worth an ask.

The BA lounge is about 50 yards down on the left once you come through the doors. If you have status, I recall they have TVs too so same as above.

If you can get out of ORD for a couple of hours, no shortage of places in town that will show games.

No answer for you but just wanted to say Chicago is an amazing city. Absolutely love it. Make sure you go to a place called Lou Malnati's on rush street (just off magnificent mile). The best pizza I have ever had!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestions!

I'll be arriving from overseas (probably terminal 5), so need something groundside rather than airside.

Looks like it might be the Hilton. Hopefully their bar is open by mid-morning.

If I end up with enough free time I might even catch the Superbowl too. Could be an interesting day.

Cardiff's right. Great city. I lived there for a couple of years in what seems like another lifetime and still get back every couple of years. Was at Lou's a few months ago!

Hmm. . . Always been skeptical about Chicago 'deep dish' pizza, but maybe time to give it a go.

Jealous that you got to live there! I would love to. Last year, my girlfriend and I went on a trip to see San Fran, Las Vegas and Chicago. Previously have been to New York and for me, out of all the above, Chicago is the best. I loved everything about it. Definitely going to go back there.

It's a fantastic city to live in and visit. One of our clients held a big meeting there last year so got to lol around in the luxury of the Drake for a week...took the missus, saw the Bears-Vikings game, ate copious quantities of great food and really missed living there generally. It's probably the one city in North America that I really love. If you haven't been, Soldier Field is really what a stadium should be.
