Jules is 34 I think, so far too young to accept the end of his first team career. Both are very good keepers and will really now keep each other on their toes, which can only be a good thing.
Personally I think Jules will keep the spot for this season.

In the Prem you really do need 2 quality keepers. It's such a vital position especially for teams like us that don't score much...could you imagine how bad of a position we would have been in if Jules got hurt earlier this season? Don't be. Rather be excited that Palace are showing signs of long term planning. In the Prem you really do need 2 quality keepers. It's such a vital position especially for teams like us that don't score much...could you imagine how bad of a position we would have been in if Jules got hurt earlier this season?

This move is nothing but positive for our continued growth.
