asalways at this time of the window, there is very little news, so every possible link to any player will be dragged up and published.

At the end of the month, Andrew Johnson will once again get lost on his way to Beckenham to sign at the training ground that he went to daily for years, Nugent will be seen getting out of his car in teh sainsburys car park, peter odemwhingie will decide to camp out in someones car park after engineering a ruck with someone etc etc.

We will then sign a defender form a league 2 team who will be the new messiah. In 2018. For another team.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Hope this isn't true. We are short on options at centre back, even if we sign two new center backs I would like to keep Gabbs.

We should hang on to him unless TP has got something better lined up, which is possible I suppose.

Once we've signed him he will be excluded from the squad of 25

Been a first team regular for months, no chance he will be going anywhere, even if we get a new centre back, can't see him being replaced straight away. Plus we need options and back up in that position, not getting one in and one go out.

What I think this and other stories herald is that we can expect a pretty major clear-out in the summer, regardless of whether we stay up or go down. My guess is that no matter how things end up, Pulis is going to build his own squad and there is going to be quite a lot of turnover including the departure of some players who've done quite well but simply aren't the sort to execute Pulis' strategy (and I am not assuming that will be exactly the same as it was at Stoke). I wouldn't be surprised if Gayle and Bannan had both moved on by the start of next season and I would not be surprised if we had a new keeper next August, too. My guess is that assuming they are signed up, he will build around Jedi, Ward, Bolasie, and Puncheon (if he is signed permanently). I would not be surprised to seven new faces around those four on the first day of next season.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

This would be lunacy. The back 4 in its current state over the last 10 games or so has to be one of the(if not the) most frugal in the Prem. DG is a proven and integral part of that.

There is no-one under the 10 mil mark available that would have proved themselves better this season (since IH left) as part of a defensive unit...and even if they had, who's to say they would be as effective within our defensive unit. AND, we have pretty much zero cover for that position: at least while Ward is in the midfield.

Sorry, I should have said to sell him and bring in someone else would be lunacy.
