I think we will draw with Hull, hoping United and Chelsea do the business for us

I would take 4pts from next two games that would set us up for shock away win.

I agree, it's all very exciting.

But I'm faaaaaaaaar too pessimistic to get carried away. Sorry, it's not a lack of belief, it's just an insecurity born from years of support. Remember, we lost to Norwich a few weeks ago, and that was a game we were confident going in to. We then only got a draw at home with a penalty. The flip side of the coin is that with it so tight, a defeat could be catastrophic! This is a crazy bottom 6 this year, and I just feel that as soon as a team gets complacent, or hit with a bit of misfortune, they get dragged below the trap door.

I know it's contradictory, but I'm confident going into every game, but always wary of counting any chickens! We have GOT to focus on the performance and not the table.

I honestly do not know if it is possible but I would like to see us really thump Hill so as to improve our goal average. It would also serve as" pay back" to Bruce for walking out on us those many years ago. Some how Pulis has got to get us scoring more than the odd goal here and there and go on a real goal feast like Reading did against our friend Doogie's team last week end.

We only have to worry about our results. If we are not 100% on our game then we will lose. If we do that the rest will take care of itself.

Oh Absolutley agree its these weekends though where with a win you can really heap more and more pressure on the sweaty Allardyce or Vincent Tan FC and a where a defeat puts you back to the drawing board in trying to find a win to get you back to the opportunity where you can again put some clear water.

These are kick on weekends where real progress can be made.

For me I think our low expectation will serve us well...we would all like to stay up but it isnt the be all and end all, our players make mistakes but there is still noise and positivity from the stands and the players have a freedom.

West Ham, Naaaarwich, Swansea et al both club, players, board and fans have an expectation to stay up and treat it as a catastrophe to go down, their fans get on their players backs and performances become timid and scared

Its all good

Hull is a very crucial match. If everything goes pear shaped and we are back below the line, the Arsenal game will look like a dead loss.

A win against Hull and some other results going our way, we could have enough confidence to be after a point or three at the arse.

We need to turn over one of the big boys this season, knocking the arse off the top would be very satisfying.

7 points from the next 3 games...I really dont think its beyond us right now. We need to be able to get goals against the bigger boys to realy create some space...
