I had a wonderful dream last night that terracing was once again part of Selhurst Park. That'll solve the problem. Take out 1500 seats behind the Holmesdale goal to allow for 2,000 standing. Noise would double and no more seat problems.

Was there any surges?

I've had my season ticket in block b since 2007 and that is what happened just after I started going in there, checking the ticket all the way down to make sure you have the right ticket. It doesn't make any difference if they check them or not people are still doubling and trebling up on seats and in the gangway ,it won't stop until someone gets seriously hurt in a crush . I noticed a scuffle in the aisle halfway through the second half Saturday, pointless action and will only help the calls for us to be made to sit . I say stay in your own area and create an atmosphere right across the Holmesdale , then they'll stop trying to stop us standing !

Why do people always step in and hold these kids back when they square up to each other, always seems to me that it makes them braver when they are being held back and more bolshy. Leave them to it, and one will usually back down and slope off, if not the stewards can jump in and chuck them both out, to sort it outside.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

No change at terracing. If standing ever comes back, it will be safe standing -- the Germany model, where everyone would have an assigned spot.

I feel I want to introduce "semi-safe leaning" as a compromise between the sitting and safe standing argument. I don't think it will catch on

Most certainly not European.
