Met two Stoke fans after the game who were both Pulis supporters and appeared more pleased we had won with him in charge than their defeat. They are apprently season ticket holders and are convinced they will be relegated this season. They added that we looked a very solid team and thoroughly deserved the three points.

I was always in favour of TP's appointment and believe he is the best manager we have had since Coppell. All this nonsense about his preferred style of play was, of course, purely media fuelled drivel.

Comparisons with characters in comedies -

Holloway is like David Brent: vaguely likeable, wants to be popular but in the eend clueless as to how to run a business

Pulis is like Johnson from Peep Show: seems in complete control, breathes natural authority and seems to actually have a plan

If you look at his record since his appointment, including the Hull game where he was in the stands which would have had an effect on the players, we have taken 16 points from 11 games which if you equate that into a full season would give us 55 points which is incredible. If he had been here since the start of the season we would have had at least 6 or 7 extra points. Keep up the good work TP.

Think Tony Pullis should get a massive amount of credit for how we are playing, clean sheets and wins, if we can add to our squad then all good but, we now have a manager that knows what he is doing.

But he needs help in the form of signings. If you were at the game today you would see as clear as everyone else that was that if there ever was a game that showed up our weaknesses it was this afternoon. Chamakh was awful. To be replaced by Wilbraham who actually got stuck in to Stokes defence should have been embarrassing to him. The only good performance was from Guediora who ran out of steam due to match fitness.
Reason we won today? Stoke were worse than us. its as simple as that.
Its great to be out the bottom three and Pulis has proved a miracle worker but he needs help. I pray the owners provide it!

Amazing.!!
So come on then name who we should get to help the Team.?

Anyone who thinks Chamakh was s*** today knows f*** all about football. One of the few players who is able to retain the ball, bring others into play, pick a pass and on top of that he works damn hard. If you pair him with a finisher we have a great chance of staying up.

You mean someone like Gayle? Cannot understand why Dwight wasn't used today. This boy can finish!

Because he would get f***ed up by Stokes massive and Physical side.

Er, how about the players Pulis has told the owners he wants/needs? I thought that was quite clear in my post?
Truly amazing!!!
