With all the talk about the Class of '92 today. Does anyone else have memories of this youth cup final home leg?Interesting to note that Robbie Savage played for Man Utd as a sub in this and the link below says Stuart McCall played for us but this seems to be incorrect. I remember the home leg very well. The Man Utd team were very strong but obviously no household names at that time. Surprised to see none of our players progressed particularly well apart of George Ndah.

My mates brother was captain, Mark Holman now lives in Newcastle but comes down a couple of times a year.Had a bad injury when he was about 18 and had to retire. Lots of clubs were interested in him at the time and im sure he would of played at a very high level if it wasn,t for his injury.

George Ndah, superstar. There's a name to bring back memories.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

I bought the Videos at the time & still have them somewhere.
From what i can remember there was no talkover.

In fact upon refection this shows how in general (for most clubs) how FEW Lads at that age make it thru to a sucessful football career.

That is why the Man Utd six is so unusual.
