Dario Gradi took over at the Palace and openly forecast that we would be relegated, to speed that process he signed messrs Bason---Langley and Price,three of the most inept signings of all time. When people on here use words such as dreadful and crap they are accurately describing dreadfully and awfully crappy players. Just not very good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Was without doubt one of the worst players to have played for palace in my 40 years watching. His position was right back. His speciality was his ability to pass at 100mph into a teammate's stomach, thigh, head. Passes to feet were a totally alien concept to BB. The season before we had had the sublime Doris ( aka Paul Hinshelwood) but he suffered a personal tragedy of his son drowning in a swimming pool on holiday. And he was never the same player after that for Cpfc
