An interview after the 1-0 win at Brisbane Road that set us up for the Burnley game with Jimbo, Swindle and the best left back England has ever had...gets the heart pumping..until Ray Bloye comes on

Oh and nothing changes, we had just settled a massive debt

That was a cracking goal - great work by Hilaire and Sansom and a thumping header by Swindlehurst.

Jimbo, Swindle and Kenny....... proper legends of Palace.

I was 14,stood behind the goal where we scored,i agree it is still my favourite time 76-80,going top after beating Ipswich 4-1,one of the best days at Selhurst.

Having watched that interview again, I found it sad when they said to Kenny "you should be a millionaire by the age of 22"

Very sad.............

Me too , i was so proud we were top i wore my Palace badge on my school uniform all week, one of our best ever performances for sure, the football was amazing. Ipswich were a very good team and we were just brilliant

Mine too. I was 14 aswell but in the AW enclosure.

Venables moaned about the attendance afterwards - 28,000. It all went downhill from there.

'With a chilling simplicity' - Please Brian no. Nothing is chillingly simple at Palace. Love toknow where the money went, apart from Venables signing players then taking them to QPR cut price
