Love the old black and white videos of Palace matches,did you go to the game,spend a shilling on a programme ?. Keep an eye out for a clearance from John Sewell while holding his boot in his hand,great stuff. Cue Brian Moore.

I was there. A bit Alamo like ! I think that 6 minutes of footage illustrates why I think Jacko was our best ever 'keeper. Incidentally, Osgood shouted '' leave it John '' when Chelsea equalised - you can see that McCormick seems to duck out of making a headed clearance from the cross coming in.

Jacko in monumental form. A 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge was a great result at that time. Mind you they stuffed us at Selhurts later in the season.

Brought up on the Big Match it wasn’t until I was 14 that I realised our goalie wasn’t actually called Jackson Greatsave.
