Yes could only of been 200 of us on a terrace that held about 8000.

I must know you Monkey, at least by sight anyway.

it's possible mate, there wasn't many of us travelling away back in the early/mid 80's and we did get to see the same old faces, especially the far flung northern grounds when there was about 50 of us in the away end......those were the days

I remember one game, which may have been Pompey in the Full Members or some such on a s***ty Tuesday night where we had 57

was at this game in blues end with about 12 brummie mates.when we went 3 up thay all decided it was home time so as i car sharing i had to go with them.we had a convoy of 3 cars and i kept signalling the other goals as they were scored as we had local brmb on the commentary.
This game was also video'd very amateurishly from the stand with no commentary and when the 6th went in a bluenose can be heard shouting , and i quote:
"Burrrrminnngaaaam yam a disgrace to the midlunds"
Happy Days

Did your fellow away traveller come from Redhill thik I remember him
Another one of my all time favourite away days in the 1980's.
Stood on that huge terrace, with my then fellow away traveller George. (The Willie Thorne look-a-like) seeing the goals go in the second half.
Also remember our defence catching them offside time and time again. Singing to George Wood to show us his bum.
To top it all Jim Cannon scoring his usual 1 goal of the season.
Seems like it was only yesterday, not 25 years ago.
Happy days.
Had this on video somewhere, must try and look it out.

Another good away at Birmingham was the 4-2 win early in 1993/94 season.

My Brother Big Dave used to run the away coach 1 to games, doing quizzes and bingo on the way, remember this match very well Cannons goal bent in with outside of his right foot also remember a guy on the bus called Eric who fell over before the start of the game and went to hospital came back after the sixth went in with broken wrist.
