That was a great season. I saw us beat Man City, Man Utd, and Chelsea at home yet we still got relegated. I also loved that claret and blue kit and wanted it to be the kit we wore at the 1990 FA Cup replay (instead of that yellow and black monstrosity!). I still see Mel Blyth attends many of our home games. He was there yesterday with David Payne.

What an incredible game that was. Don Rogers is still my favourite ever Palace player, he was like Pele Maradona and Messi all rolled into one that day. he absolutely petrified them. I still love watching the highlights, it fills me with pride that my team could play football like that.
