We're all nuts following Palace for so long!
Anyone recall Chris wright with the St bernard dog at the top of the Holmesdale amd other parts of ground?

That's a blast from the past - Palace Action group or summat wasn't he the leader of? Power struggling with Ron Noades in '81. He was on Tv news and everything.
Is he still alive?

The same chris wright who was villified in the press at italia 90 for being a hooligan?

Yep - He was dubbed the 'Prat in the Hat' on the back pages of the Piss Poor Mirror....

Anybody remember a bloke called Geoff who used to stand on the holmesdale always had a jeanjacket on normally pissed carried a bag with a banjo in would end up playing it after the game ,saw him at the Epsom derby busking

He's still around, saw him in Beckenham last month, not sure if he still goes to Palace.

Don't think he ever had a "proper" job, (just busking) so probably can't afford it these days.

Wouldn't call them eccentric but does anyone remember the blond twins from Brixton? got to be around 47-50 now.
Used to see them all the time in the old days? They were always plssed as farts & always wearing matching clothes normally jeans and jean jackets, seemed up for a scrap at the time but cant recall them getting involved in any fisty cuffs?

I suppose it counts as nostalgia as I've been a season ticket holder at the back of block F for 12 or so years now. The characters who were season ticket holders then are mainly the sam ones who are season ticket holders now. My friend and I managed to compile quite a list.

Skinhead (aka. Graham) - Back when block F used to sing (a while ago now) it was always skinhead who used to start it off. Unfortunately he got a warning from a steward a couple of years back and has since calmed down a little. Recent speculation states he's a vicar.

Boulder Brothers - Sadly they are no longer there but these two portly gentlemen would always sing their hearts out for the lads, usually whilst holding a hot dog or chips and a coke.

The Third Hairy Biker - Still there and still takes his son. Always dressed in leathers with a handlebar moustache an 80s german p*** star would be proud of.

Tony Blair - Slightly camp posh voice with over extravagant hand gestures, king of humourous comments. Only one ex prime minister he could have been compared with.

Sweary man & Sweary kid & sweary kid jr. - Ever present in my tenure at Selhurst Park, Sweary Man would unleash a load of vitriolic bile on our players, their players, the ref, the linesmen, the Palace Crystal cheerleaders (to be fair I've not heard him do it to the new crystals yet ). Sweary kid snr was first there around 8 or 9 and would eff and blind in a high pitched voice alongside him which became progressively deeperas the years rolled by. Sweary Kid jnr came around 8 or 9 as well but was much more mellow than his relations.

If it helps I'm sure the rest of the block knows me as the fat kid with the bad haircut in the leather jacket, my ginger mate as either Ben Watson or Prince harry and the other one as 'the model' due to his appearance in the 2004-5 Palace merchandise brochure.

This is Chris Wright, head and shoulders above everyone else after the Fulham game in 1969

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp
