Hi guys...just joined.
Croydon railway station in Feb 1976...first glimpse of the ground.
1976...3-2 v Chelsea at the Bridge.
That fantastic all white strip with the red and blue stripe...Jim Cannon.
Promotion from div III ...52,000 at Selhurst. Me going mental as an 11 year old when the score came in on Grandstand and my cousin wondering why the hell I gave a dam when everyone else had Man U or Liverpool or Leeds as their English team.
